Gig Harbor Wine Co. is a small, locally owned winery created by husband-and-wife team Robin and Ben Egeland. We love Gig Harbor and wanted our wines to feel connected to the place we call home—laid-back, welcoming, full of character, and maybe a little unexpected.

Our wines are big, bold, and flavorful, made with fruit from some of Washington’s incredible wine-growing regions. But just as important as what’s inside the bottle is the story behind it. Each of our labels has a connection to Gig Harbor, and on the back of every bottle you’ll find a little piece of local history—a nod to the people, places, boats, and stories that have helped make this town what it is.

We work with award-winning Walla Walla winemaker Aryn Morell, who somehow has a way of taking what we love in a wine and bringing it to life. His modern, thoughtful approach lets the fruit and varietal shine, and the wines he creates for us genuinely feel like us.

We opened our tasting room in March 2024 with a pretty simple goal: create the kind of place we would want to hang out. Somewhere comfortable and unpretentious where you can stop in for a tasting, share a bottle with friends, grab a glass before dinner, or stay awhile. We offer tasting flights, wine by the glass and bottle, local beer, and a selection of small bites. And when we say everyone is welcome, we mean it. Kids can settle in with coloring books and snack packs, and dogs are welcome inside too—with plenty of pups earning a spot on our dog photo wall over the years.

Our Wine Club, is free to join and gives members discounts on wine and merchandise, along with invitations to special events and releases. More than anything, it has become another way for us to bring together the community that has supported us from the beginning.

One of the things we’re most proud of is the feeling you get when you walk through our doors. Our staff is incredible, our customers have become friends, and the support Gig Harbor has shown our little winery has meant more to us than we can say. We’re excited for what’s ahead and incredibly grateful to keep growing, making wine, telling Gig Harbor stories, and creating a place where people genuinely enjoy spending time.
